Wild and feminine 30a editorial

When Pure 7 Photography approached me with an idea for this editorial, I couldn’t pass up the challenge. To create something so wild and carelessly beautiful in a headpiece was something I could only dream of. This was really a chance to think outside the box..

We need the tonic of Wilderness… At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and inexorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature.

– Henry David Thoreau

“Untamed” came to mind as first spring clematis vine was rich with plum starlike blooms. To achieve the lush color and texture palette we used all of our early spring favorites: lilacs, lisianthus, fragrant garden roses, clematis vine & lovely hellebores.

Emme {model} looked like a muse, barefoot and wearing the crown. {I have to say, it ended up being quite heavy}. Effortless make up and loosely braided hair added to strong, yet feminine look.

We ended up shooting in several different locations here along the beautiful Emerald Coast. We took advantage of the lush green backdrop of Nature preserve trail as well as majestic 30a beach dunes.
